So being St. Patrick's day I do hope everyone has a drink for me and my heritage... okay maybe not heritage, but at least my name's Irish. Which reminds me of St. Paddy's two years ago spent on Washington with a couple of friends at Pearl Bar, The Lot, and some other bars. Apparently I may have run into my husband that day without knowing it, before we met that is. About a year ago I was talking with one of his friends who said they were at the same bar that night! What a coincidence! I guess that makes it at least twice we might have met since we were at the same place at the same time, although neither of us remembers seeing each other. Who could miss a tall Chinaman though?....

I'm FREE!
So finally on Spring Break. Won't officially call it that until I finish my two shifts at work this weekend = no fun on St. Paddy's for me! Oh well, I'll make sure to makeup for it this week... however there are no college type spring break plans in the works for me, no bikinis, and no beaches sadly. Perhaps a little traveling to the Woodlands and visiting long lost friends I have not seen due to my work getting in my way.

Hello Stranger
So Blogging is not my forte considering I have not blogged since August. However in my own defense, life gets hectic with school, work, wedding planning, and a bit disorderly husband. Add in a part-time dog and I'm doomed.
So the traditional wedding ceremony/reception is almost here (76 days to be exact), with a few details left to plan and closing in on completing those not yet finished. Thankfully invitations have finally gone out (lots of hard labor went into those babies). In reality I simply can't wait for our wedding weekend to get here already. I'm ready to celebrate with family I have not seen get together since birth, friends who mostly live out of town, and finally call myself Mrs. Chang! Yes, you heard right Mrs. Chang! Well for those of you who don't know I have not changed my name since my official union to THE gluttonous chinaman (yes, I married a blog celebrity!). I figured to add a special touch, I would save the official name change for May. Can't wait for the awkward stares and confused looks when people see my name expecting someone asian and BAM a curve ball thrown their way- a hispanic non-asian. Call me weird but I especially can't wait for the day we have children and strangers wonder if I'm the mom (assuming they look more asian).
Ready for my pharmacology test to be over, work weekend to fly by, and hello SPRING BREAK!
